Jesus, You, the image, the essence and the glorious expression of the invisible God, You are my very life.

Who can I measure You? Who can search You out? You are eternal. You are above and beyond all limitations!

You are God of the impossible. Your mercy is from everlasting to everlasting. You are sovereign over all creation, faithful and true. You dwell in unapproachable light.

I'm supposed to have a dream, to become somebody in this world, and now, live to fulfil "my dream." Everyone lives like that. It's an accepted format of self-preservation. I don't want to waste my time in this! Not anymore.

Here is a religious option: Whatever the form of godliness looks like in their denomination. To be compressed by their religious standards of behavior will not save me from decay. I don't want religious counterfeit! I reject that!

Seeing Jesus / Format

Jesus, through You everything came into being, yet You humbled Yourself and came into our sinful world. You compressed yourself into a format of human flesh, and purchased us to be Your own. You have put an end to the old creation and, in Yourself, started a new one. You are the beginning of the new creation, and I am forever grateful to be Your own.

I'm born of Your Spirit, in You, I am a new creation, and You are my world.

I am transferred from death to life, into Your eternal Kingdom for the revelation of Your glory. Carrying Your life-giving Spirit, I live already in eternal realm. And though I still walk upon the earth through tribulations, I'm not of this world. I stepped outside the camp, unto You, bearing Your reproach. But there is nothing to fear, for Your life within me knows no bounds.

I'm supposed to fit a global picture of a happy society. Adjusting to the new normal is the cropping procedure, everyone is involved in.

I get busy arranging my life, as required. But the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil produces death and locks me in its domain. I don't want religious counterfeit! I reject that!

Seeing Jesus / Crop

Jesus, my Savior and King, You came to live within me. You are on the throne of my heart. From now on, my life is to follow You, to express You, to know You closer and to reveal You to the world around me.

My life belongs to You, Lord. Take over! I choose to obey Your leading. You know exactly what You're doing with me and through me. You see everything, nothing can hide from your eyes. Your word separates between my soul and my spirit, so that I understand what to keep and what to crop. As I look at You, I perceive who You made me to be.

Everything extra, every aspect of my personality, which doesn’t come into submission to Your authority, is an unwanted area and must be removed from the picture. Every thought be taken captive and every high thing, which exalts itself against the knowledge of God in me - let it be pulled down and cropped out of my life!

The chaotic turning of the world system is specifically generated for you and me to lose orientation. But they push you to participate, by saying: “follow your heart, and you will always be ahead of the next turn.” I don't want to waste my time in this! Not anymore.

Religious option

Every church provides the so-called “spiritual covering”. Once introduced to these authority figures, you are registered in their system of control. They are your “to go to” people, in case of any problem, you should turn to them.

Oh, Jesus! In the past, I turned to so many places, trying to find out who I am and to experience love: To knowledge, to arts, to position in society. I tried to be recognized and acknowledged or, at least, respected... and had a certain measure of what people call success. In all that, my perception of myself was rotated and flipped without end.

But now, I have no confidence in my flesh. I turn to You, Jesus. From the world of vanity, unto You. You are the desire of all nations. You are the treasure I discovered in the field.

You are my very life, You and none else. I live to love You, Jesus. I live to know You, and witness Your reality to everyone around me.

Modern civilization is introducing its bright new world, its Golden Age. And I'm instructed to participate.

Here is a religious option: Trying to follow the bright law of the Scripture, I discover my own darkness. I try to brighten up, but my efforts are in vain. No matter, how much I try.

Jesus! You are the true light, that gives light to every man that comes into the world. In You, I dwell in the light, and the darkness cannot comprehend it. The light of the glorious Gospel shone into my life and illuminated my heart with the knowledge of Your glory and Person. I focus on Your eternal light in my spirit, and it pushes away the darkness, which tries to keep me in my old sinful nature.

Your light takes over in every aspect, and my life shines brighter and brighter every day. You transform me to be a carrier of Your divine essence, ushering into the world a dawn of Your eternal revelation.

Jesus, Your kingdom is not of this world. Your kingdom is superior and is the only reality, which is in contrast to the present, hopeless chaos. Your Kingdom operates in exact opposite to the world’s environment: As Your children, though still living in the world, we are not of it. We live by dying, we gain by losing. We are strong, when we are weak. Not only that, but we are rich, when we don’t hold onto any earthly possessions. We are free, being fully submitted to Christ’s authority.

Because of this contrast, the world hates and persecutes everyone, who lives godly. But You protect Your own in this world.

You are Jesus, the living Christ! You are the highlight of my life. You shine from the highest point. You direct my life perception and guide my attention. You highlight the important details. Navigating my daily activities, I follow Your highlight. You bring forth the true value and meaning of every aspect of life. You point out its true color.

This light, shining from Your face, is life-giving. I let it transform me and saturate my entire being. You bring forth the purpose of the original creation: to unite under Your headship for all eternity. Jesus, Your death and resurrection shine as a laser beam, penetrating all the layers of darkness of the old creation. Its radiance brings forth the original purpose of my life. May the rest of the image be subdued under Your authority unto everlasting life in You.

Lord Jesus! You are the purity of my life, in every sense: in the past, present and future. You are my justification, sanctification and redemption. Every day, I desire to be saturated with You - Your presence and Your Person. Because You are my eternal treasure.

I discard as garbage everything else, so that I can gain Christ. For the surpassing excellence of knowing You, Jesus, I consider everything loss.

The world passes away, with all its pursues and shameful lasts, but I live forever to carry out Your purpose. Your Word, written on my heart, and expressed through my daily life, becomes more and more vivid in me. Let everything else stay muted.

Lord Jesus, You know that I was Your enemy, a child of disobedience. Under the control of the prince of the power of the air, I walked in the corrupt deceitful lusts, walking the course of this world.

But You transferred me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. You opened my eyes to distinguish between light and darkness, between truth and counterfeit, because there are no gray areas, no mixture between life and death. True life is pure and holy, it’s Your very essence. Now, I yield myself to You, to Your life within me. Beloved Jesus, I delight in Your presence! Such a pleasant environment for me. Everything aligns to Your will. Our fellowship is a mutual enjoyment and I desire to please You. From Your own words, I understand that You want me to be hot or cold. And here I am, Lord:

Towards sin and towards my old self-centered nature, I am dead - that’s cold. Towards righteousness, I’m hungry - that’s hot. Even more, the zeal of Your house consumes me! I carry Your passionate love in my regenerated spirit. Your Spirit within me yearns with jealousy. That’s fire.

Thank You, Jesus, You have come as a man, to reconcile me to the Father. Dying on the cross in my place, you have opened the way for me to come into God’s Holy Presence and receive life. Before that, my sinful flesh stood in between me and God. His eternal light, though shining, could not reach my life. But thank you, Jesus! You’ve made it possible. Your blood provided my redemption and forgiveness. The water, which flew out from Your side, fills me with Your divine life and light in my spirit.

Being filled with Your light in my innermost being, I die daily, carrying the cross. So that this same light of Your truth may saturate my soul as well, operate in my body and pass through me unto others.

Jesus, my Master, You are the focus of all creation. Everything was created by You, through You and for You. You are the brightness of God’s glory and the impress of His substance.

I was created in Your image, with Your Person, Jesus, being the center and the focus. You bring my whole image into focus. When I focus on Who You are, I can understand who I am.

When I started to look on myself, I could not see the original image, and my life got confused, out of focus.

But You guide me to bring every aspect of my life into the focus, and I renew my mind daily. Your word is sharper than a two-edged sword. In it, I find You and restore my focus on Your Person.

The world promotes its own distorted version of freedom. I'm supposed to desire to be some kind of a free element, so elevated and intelligent, not accountable to anyone... shortly, "free" from God.

Seeing Jesus / Free Transform

Jesus, You are the faithful One! I prayed for Your will to be accomplished in my life... and You answered my prayer. And I felt it right away... Honestly, I hated it - the troubles, the pain, the losses, the misunderstandings, betrayal, loneliness, sickness, despair... At times, I felt that You forgot about me. Looking at myself, I could see ruins everywhere...

But You carried me through all the tribulations, and I didn’t give up on seeking Your face. And now, looking back, I perceive Your image within me. It’s so beautiful, so life-giving!

You started a good work in me and promise to faithfully continue it till the end. I trust myself into You, Lord. Do with me, as You please - until Christ be fully formed within me. Jesus, You are free to transform me. I desire to be ready for eternity with You.

Jesus, You are the true light! You have shown into the world. Your light pierced the darkness and opened for all people the way into freedom. But many chose to hide from the light, for fear to be exposed. Oh, Jesus! So many times, I was hiding my sins and was going further from Your face, deeper into darkness... But You kept drawing me with the bands of love. And here I am - Your miracle.

I was once darkness, but now am light, in the Lord.

I step boldly into Your light. I let myself be exposed to Your truth. Fully. You can come into the most secret chambers of my heart, I want Your life-giving light, more than anything.

You have captured my heart, my Beloved. And as I let myself be captured by You, I capture Your light into my being, more and more.

Oh, Lord Jesus, You are the Head of the Body. You descended into the lowest places and ascended to the highest. You have overcome death and now, exalted above every other authority, you are the Head of the Church, Your Body. It has both universal and local reality.

I’m so grateful, that I can be a part of Your action upon the earth, to participate in the building of Your beloved Bride - Your glorious counterpart, the fullness of Your expression for all eternity.
