Blusher

The Blusher is the single layer veil worn over the
face
at the beginning of the ceremony.This is the top tier. It
is usually between 23" and 29".

Elbow

Fingertip

The
Elbow veil is multi-layered, and as
its name suggests, is long enough to reach the elbows.
Top tier - 23" and bottom tier - 27".

The
Fingertip veil is a long veil
that
reaches the fingertips when the arms
are relaxed and by your side.
Top tier - 29"and bottom tier - 42".

The
Chapel length veil is a long veil.
Top tier - 29" and bottom tier - 108".
(single tier - 108").

The
Cathedral length veil is the longest
veil.

Drop:
Drop is the term used to describe how the veil is attached to the
headpiece. When only the center portion of the veil is attached,
(leaving approximately 15 inches at each end unattached), the veil
has "Drop." Drop creates handkerchief corners at the front
sides of the veil that drape over the shoulders. |

No
Drop: When the entire edge of the veil is attached to the headpiece,
the veil has
"No-Drop." Veils with No Drop do not have handkerchief
corners, and fall to the back of the shoulders. |

Pearl
Edge:The edges or hems of the veil are trimmed with pearls. |

Embroidered
Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are trimmed with embroidery |

Rolled
Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are rolled, and then stitched in place |

Raw
Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are left unfinished, or unhemmed. |

Ribbon
Edge: The
edges of the veil are trimmed with ribbon. |

Tiaras:
Tiaras sit on top of the head and are decorated with a variety
of pearls, rhinestones, crystals, flowers etc..

Crowns:
Like tiaras, Crowns sit on top of the head and are also decorated
with an endless variety of pearls, rhinestones, crystals, flowers
etc...

V-Band:
Similar to tiaras or Crowns but the crown comes to a distinctive
"V" shaped point in the front. |

Bun
Rings:
Similar to Tiaras or Crowns, a bun ring is smaller and designed
to fit around a bun of hair. |

Headbands:
Headpieces that frame the face, and are designed to hold back hair.
Headbands can be narrow or wide, plain or decorated in a variety
of different ways. |

Floral
Bands:
Headband style headpieces frame the face and are decorated with
fabric flowers. |

Back
Pieces:
These headpieces are attached to the back of the head, usually by
a comb or clip. |

Floral
Wreath:
A ring design that can be positioned on the head in a variety of
ways, created of flowers--either fabric, or real. (Real flower wreaths
are general designed by floral designers.) |

Caplet:
This headpiece is a small, round, brimless hat, worn on the top
of the head. |

Hats:
A brimmed hat decorated in a variety of ways to complement the gown. |

Profile:
A headpiece designed to be worn on the side or back of the head,
decorated with flowers, beading, rhinestones, etc... |
