How To Measure For Your Gown: |
| |
-
The best way to insure that your measurements are correct is to be measured
by a professional seamstress. (Check with fabric stores in your area
for a list of local seamstresses).
Bridal
gown sizing is different than sizing for street clothes. Since the gowns
are only returnable in the event of a manufacturer defect, not for sizing
problems, it is important that you follow the guidelines below to get
your measurements before using the size chart to determine the correct
size.
Take
your measurements while wearing the undergarments you will be wearing
with the gown.
Stand
straight with your arms relaxed and by your side.
When
measuring for the hemline, be sure you are wearing shoes with the same
height heel as those you will be wearing with the gown.

To
measure for the hemline of your gown, place the tape measure
at the bottom of the hollow at the base of your neck. |
| |
Measure
the bust line
at its fullest part
|
| |
Measure
waistline
at your natural waist
|
|
| |
Measure
hips
at the fullest part

|
Extend
the tape measure down to where you want the hemline. If you are ordering
a gown with a full skirt, extend the tape out at the hemline to allow for
the appropriate fullness of the skirt. |
